(Novice championships March 30th & 31st; Intermediate championships April 26 – 28)

Preliminary entries to HQ close: Friday, February 1st at 3pm
Prelim entries must be made to HQ. You can pay online using the BRC online system.

THIS COMPETITION WILL BE RUN UNDER 2019 BRC RULES
It is the team managers’ and competitors’ responsibility to ensure they and their horses are eligible for
these classes and are aware of all relevant rules regarding the competition, tack and turnout etc. These
rules are available online in the BRC Handbook 2019 and subsequent amendments.
You are required by law to have your horse/pony’s passport with you
Vaccinations must be correct in accordance with BRC rules and if your horse/pony’s passport does not have
an in date sticker on the competition day will be checked by an Official Steward.
BRC/BE AND PC now have an AQUA HAT TAG
If your hat does not have an aqua coloured tag please allow time for it to be checked and tagged
PLEASE OBSERVE THE ONE-WAY SYSTEM IN OPERATION ON THE DAY TO AVOID LORRY JAMS

CLASS ONE: 80 SEIB Winter Novice (maximum height in round 1 – 80cm)
A: Senior Teams

CLASS TWO: 90 Equithème Winter Intermediate (maximum height in round 1 – 90cm)

CLASS THREE: 100 Equithème Winter Intermediate (maximum height in round 1 – 100cm)

Classes will be run over two rounds, with a jump –off for qualifying places if necessary; lower
placings will be decided by scores over the two rounds and times in the second round if scores are
equal. Please note: If the volume of entries necessitates, and there is a tie for qualifying places after the
second round, HQ may allow second round times, for the three scores to count in the tied teams and
individuals, to determine placings to avoid jump-offs. This will only be requested if absolutely necessary for
reasons of time.
ROSETTES:
Class One Novice (Winter 80) – team and individual placings to sixth place for Seniors and Juniors
Class Two Intermediate (Winter 90) – team and individual placings to sixth place for Seniors and Juniors
Class Three Intermediate (Winter 100) – team and individual placings to sixth place
Class Four Intermediate (Winter 110) – team and individual placings to sixth place
ENTRY FEE: £84 per team. £21 per individual not on a team PLUS £2 per rider towards medical cover
(please note: entrants with multiple rides pay medical cover only once)
